IMDS Zero Part Weight Validation

The Zero Weight tab on the IMDS Validation report lists parts where the weight is defined as 0.

The validation checks for part weight = 0. A weight calculation cannot be performed for any child component if the parent part weight is zero. These zero weight parts are flagged so the weight can be changed and the error avoided before uploading to IMDS.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Senior Compliance Engineer

Column NameDescription
Part NameThe part name. Click the name to view its properties.
Direct Parent Part NameThe direct parent part name, if applicable. Click the part's name to view its compliance properties.
Top Level Part Name The top level part name for export. Click the part's name to view its compliance properties.
