Compliance Process Properties

The Compliance Process Properties page displays basic identifying attributes of the compliance process and calculated attributes computed in the rollup process.

Compliance process properties are shown for parts created in Materials Compliance Management (plant-specific and manufacturer equivalent parts), reported parts, and parts created in Engineering BOM Management.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, Leader
  • App-specific: Compliance Engineer, Senior Compliance Engineer

To access this page:

  1. Open the required part. For more information, see Opening a Part.
  2. In the navigation pane, click the name of the part.
  3. Click the Compliance Properties tab.

Fields

If you see above the fields, changes have been made to the compliance process, or its component materials or substances that could affect the compliance. Click Roll Up Compliance Data to roll up the compliance data.

Field Name Description
Type The type or subtype of the compliance process.
Title A descriptive name for the compliance process.
Revision The revision level of the compliance process.
Policy The policy that defines the lifeycle for the compliance process. By default, only the Compliance Process policy is available, with Active as its only state.
Process Classification Terminology used to describe the process defined by this compliance process.
Process Stage The manufacturing stage in which this process is used:
  • Production
  • Production Operation
  • Maintenance
  • Repair
  • Overhaul/Refurbishment
Description The description of the compliance process.
Owner The person responsible for the compliance process.
Originator The person who initially created the compliance process.
Company The company responsible for the compliance process.
Originated Date The date the compliance process was created.
Modified The most recent date that a change was made to the compliance process.
State The current lifecycle state of the compliance process. A compliance process has a single possible state: Active.
Compliances Lists the compliance definitions that apply to the compliance process:

Field Name Description
Name The type of compliance.
Compliance The compliance definition within the compliance type.
Selected Exemptions If the Compliance value is "Yes with Exemptions" this column lists the exemptions.
Violations If the Compliance value is "No", this shows the violations.

Roll Up Compliance Data Only shows if changes have been made to the compliance process, or its component materials or substances that could affect the compliance.

Rolls up the compliance values.

Edit Details Edits details of a part.

You cannot edit reported part properties.
