Declared Thresholds

Declared thresholds define the compliance threshold information used to calculate substances and substance classifications for the reported part, enterprise part, or MEP. When a reported part is accepted, the declared thresholds are connected to the MEP.

You only see this category if you use the chemSHERPA data option. The thresholds listed on this page are imported from the chemSHERPA Article Tool.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

Command NameDescription
Edit All / View All Toggle between edit and view mode. Only available for enterprise parts.
Create Declared Thresholds Performs these actions:
  • Removes the existing declared thresholds for the part.
  • Creates new declared thresholds for each combination of substance/substance classification and compliance application. Multiple declared threshold could be created based on the defined compliance definitions and exemptions.
  • Marks a threshold as above threshold or below threshold based on the values present in the calculated compliance data.
  • Adds created thresholds to this table.

This command does not copy the Usage, Portion Used, or Remarks attribute values because these attributes are not in the calculated data. You can edit these attributes to add the required values.

Only available for enterprise parts.

Delete all declared thresholds Deletes all declared thresholds in the table. You cannot select a subset of the declared thresholds; you can only delete all of them.
Mark Selected Thresholds as Above Threshold True Sets the value of the Above Threshold attribute for the selected thresholds to Yes.
Mark Selected Thresholds as Above Threshold False Sets the value of the Above Threshold attribute for the selected thresholds to No. If the threshold has multiple rows, all the additional rows are removed and only one row remains. The values for Exemptions, Usage, Portion Use, and Remarks are removed or set to the default value (0.0 for amounts).
