Compliance Menu for Part Properties

The properties page for a part includes a Compliance menu.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Compliance Reviewer, Compliance Engineer, Senior Compliance Engineer, Compliance Administrator

To access this page:

  1. Open the required part.
  2. In the navigation pane, click the name of the part.

For Engineering BOM Management parts and Manufacturer Equivalent Parts this is the default page when you open an individual part.

The Compliance menu includes these commands.

Disable Materials Compliance UpdatesDefines that the part should not be included in compliance rollups.Disable a Component for Compliance
Restore Default Select Equivalent Restores the default selected equivalent, which is marked as best and worst case equivalents.
Note: The user assigned with the Administrator role can configure whether to enable or disable this option. For more information, see Configuring Update and Restore Selected Equivalent.

Roll Up Compliance DataBrings selected part compliance values up to date based on changes to referenced objects in the part structure including enterprise parts, manufacturer equivalent parts, materials, substances, and compliance definitions. -
ReportsLists the reports you can run for the selected parts. Analyzing Compliance
ExportExports an enterprise part.

You cannot export an MEP or a Reported Part.
