Exporting to Materials Compliance Connect

Materials Compliance Connect is a supplier reporting tool included with Materials Compliance Supplier Portal. If you are a supplier to a customer that also uses Materials Compliance Management, you might be requested to report compliance using Materials Compliance Connect.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Senior Compliance Engineer

  1. Use the Compliance menu to open the Export dialog box. For more information, see Exporting Enterprise Parts.
  2. Select one of the Materials Compliance Connect report types:
    • Compliance Connect (ELV). This creates a file compatible with the version of Materials Compliance Connect supporting the automotive industry. This report type is available only when the ELV data management option is used.
    • Compliance Connect (RoHS). This creates a file compatible with the version of Materials Compliance Connect supporting the high-tech industry. This report type is available only when the RoHS data management option is used.
    • Compliance Connect (ELV+ RoHS). This creates a file compatible with the version of Materials Compliance Connect supporting both the automotive and high-tech industry. This report type is available only when the ELV and RoHS data management options are used.
When the export job is submitted, a background job creates a text file compatible with the specific version of Materials Compliance Connect. This file can then be imported into the Materials Compliance Connect spreadsheet and then certified and sent to the customer.
