Managing Wireframe and Axis Filtering

If the 3D view is filtered with options from the Customize View dialog box, you can manage the product structure filtering.

Important: By default, these commands are not displayed. To display these commands, select Wireframe Axis Display in Me > Preferences > App Preferences > 3D Modeling > Systems Architecture > Commands. For more information, see Native Apps Preferences Guide: Commands.

Before you begin: Open the Customize View dialog box and activate one of the following options:
  • No wire
  • No axis
  • No point

  1. In the tree or in the work area, select objects containing filtered wireframes and axes.

    Note: These commands are available for parts, products and representations.

  2. To manage filtering on the selected parts, from the View section of the action bar, click one of these commands:
    CommandDescription
    Display Wireframe and Axis The wireframe and axis of the selected parts are no longer filtered and appear in the work area.
    Reset the Display of Wireframe and Axis The wireframe and axis of the selected parts are filtered again.
  3. To reset the display of all wireframe and axis, click Reset display of all Wireframe and Axis .
    The wireframe and axis of all parts are filtered again.
