Displaying Plots in Spread Patterns

In a spread layout all of the active contour plots or symbol plots are displayed along a line or plane.


Before you begin: Multiple contour or symbol plots must be active.

Displaying Plots in Superimposed Patterns
  1. From the Plots section of the action bar, click Plot Layout .
    The Plots Layout dialog box opens.
  2. Click Spread.
  3. From the Along options, specify the line or plane along which you want to spread the display of active plots. You can spread plots along the X, Y, or Z axes or along the XY, YZ, or XZ planes.
    All active plots are displayed along the axis or plane you specify.
  4. From the Distance options, specify the interval between plots in the direction specified. If you click , a distance is calculated and the plots are arranged automatically.
    The spacing between plots changes according to the distance specified.
  5. Click Close to exit the editor.
