Copying an MCO

You can copy all parts connected to an MCO and their MBOMs in all levels to a target plant in one step.

Before you begin: Access the Properties page of an MCO. See MCO Properties.

  1. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Copy MCO.

    Target PlantClick to open the Search page. Search for and select the plant to which the MCO connected parts will be copied and click Submit.

    You can select a plant that is different from the source plant if the source MCO has not been copied to it. The Copied column in the Select Manufacturing Sites page shows “Yes” if the MCO has already been copied to that manufacturing site.

    Target MCOClick to open the Search page. Search for and select the MCO associated with the target plant and click Submit.

    The box is filled with the name of the selected MCO.

    You can also create a MCO instead of searching from the existing MCOs for a given plant. Check the box next to Create New MCO. See Creating an MCO.

  2. Click Done.

The MCO is copied and the copied MCO is displayed as a form.
