Policy | All new MCOs use the MCO (Standard) policy, which uses routes to move the MCO through its lifecycle. The MCO is automatically promoted or demoted by the approval route as soon as requirements are met. Notification about updates made to the MCO is automatically sent to members on the distribution list. |
Start Date | Click to select an implementation date for the changes released by the MCO. By default, the start date will be set to infinity. |
Target Start Date | Click to select an anticipated target start date for the MCO. By default, the target start date is blank. |
Manufacturing Responsibility | Click to search for a manufacturing plant to assign as the manufacturing responsibility for the new MCO. The search results show plants that you belong to that have MCO Coordinator as the lead role. See About Manufacturing Responsibility.Note:
A message appears if you choose a plant that lacks an MCO Coordinator lead role. Click OK to choose again.

Distribution List | Click to assign a list of people to which any messages about the MCO are routed. Search for and select any active member list.This field is available prior to Review state for the MCO (Standard) policy. |
Approval List | Click to choose an approval route template, which will be used in the MCO Review state to assign an approval route. Search for and select any active route template.This field is available when using the MCO (Standard) policy only. |
