Visualization Tree Options

Your selections from the Visualization Tree dialog box determine the objects whose visibility is being changed and the availability of some options.

Selection	Options
Single object	Toggle the object visibility using the check box, or use the context menu options.
Multiple objects ([Shift]+[Click] to select)	Use the context menu options.

Context menu options allow you to control the visibility of multiple objects in a single operation. The options available depend on the item selected.

Tip: You can also access several of the options below by opening the context menu on a selection in the model view.

Option	Result
Zoom in	Focus the tree on the selection.
(Zoom out)	Reduce focus of the tree to include parents and siblings of the selection.
Expand all under	Expand all children of the selection in the tree.
Collapse all under	Collapse all children of the selection in the tree.
Reframe on	Focus the view on the selection.
Make visible	Make the selection visible; and make the parents visible if they are not.
Make visible with	Make the selection visible along with either contributing FEM representations or contributing parts.
Isolate	Make all objects that are not necessary to the visibility of the selection (siblings, separate branches) invisible.
Isolate with	Similar to Isolate, but with added options to retain the visibility of contributing FEM representations, contributing parts, or both.
Make all 3D shapes visible	Make all 3D shape objects and their parents visible (available at the product and 3D part levels).
Make referenced 3D shapes visible	Make the 3D shape objects referenced by a FEM representation visible; make the parents of the 3D shape objects visible.
Make associated 3D shapes visible	Make the 3D shape associated with a mesh visible.
Hide all 3D shapes	Make all 3D shape objects invisible (available at the product and 3D part levels).
Make all FEMs visible	Make all FEM representations and their parents visible (available at the product and 3D part levels).
Make linked FEMs visible	Make all FEM representations linked to the selection visible; make all meshes used within the linked FEM representations visible.
Hide all FEMs	Make all FEM representations invisible (available at the product and 3D part levels).

You can use filters and object names to reduce the number of session objects displayed in the Visualization Tree dialog box. By default, all object types are displayed.

Filter	Result
3D Shapes	Show/hide all shape representations in the tree.
FEM Reps	Show/hide all FEM representations in the tree.
Name (string)	Show only those objects of the above selected types and containing the entered string.
