Coloring Meshes

You can color meshes to identify one-dimensional meshes, two-dimensional meshes, three-dimensional meshes, and connection meshes.

Note: The color you select is applied to the existing mesh only. Creating a new mesh uses the default color.

Before you begin: Create a mesh in the finite element model representation.

    OptionDescription
All Modify the color of all types of mesh.
1D Modify the color of one-dimensional meshes.
2D Modify the color of two-dimensional meshes.
3D Modify the color of three-dimensional meshes.
Connection Modify the color of connection meshes.
  3. To assign a color, use one of the following methods:
    OptionDescription
Fixed color Assign one unique color to all meshes of the same type. Click the color field to select a color from the Color Chooser.
Variable color Assign random colors to meshes of the same type. Enter the number of colors that you want to use.
Reset color Reset the color of the meshes, restoring the default product color.
