Displaying Plots in Superimposed Patterns
  1. Click in the Plots dialog box.
  2. Click in the Plots dialog box.
The Plots Layout dialog box opens.
  3. Click Superimpose.
All active plots are displayed on top of each other at the same location in the work area.
  4. If your simulation results include multiple sequences, select Apply only on current sequence to include plots from the current sequence only. Clear the check box to create a layout with plots from every sequence in the simulation results.

Note: Even if your plot layout is restricted to plots from the current sequence, you can still override this behavior and add individual plots from other sequences to your layout. To include these plots in your layout, right-click the corresponding result sequence in the tree and select Show.

Depending on your selection, the display of plots in the superimpose layout changes to include plots from all sequences in the simulation or plot from the current sequence only.
  5. From the Refresh all active plots options, specify one of the following:
    • Select At the end of command to perform the plot change immediately but only on the selected plot. Upon confirmation the change will be applied to all other plots in the plot layout once the command modifying these plots (for example, View Cuts) completes.
    • Select Immediately to perform the selected plot change immediately on all plots in the plot layout. This option might cause a decrease in performance.
  6. Click Close to exit the editor.
