Sensors Section

The Sensors section provides commands that enable you to create different types of sensors to measure the results of a simulation.

You can work with the action bar in several ways. For example, you can dock, pin, collapse, or expand the action bar. See 3DEXPERIENCE Platform: Customizing the User Interface.

Sensor
Determine the minimum, maximum, or maximum absolute values for a selected variable.
See Creating Output Sensors.
Resultant Sensor
Computes resultant force and moment for the selected support.
See Creating Resultant Sensors from Native Simulations.
Mass Sensor
Create mass and volume parameters for the specified support.
See Creating Mass Sensors.
Buckle Mode Sensor
Creates parameters for each mode of a buckle step.
See Creating Buckle Mode Sensors.
Frequency Sensor
Creates parameters for each mode of the selected frequency step.
See Creating Frequency Sensors.
Strain Gauge Sensor
Creates gauge parameters for the selected points.
See Creating Strain Gauge Sensors.
Import Strain Gauge Sensor
Imports gauge values from a file and creates the sensor parameters.
See Importing Strain Gauge Definitions.
