Component Specification

Create Component Specification on Points
  • Select one or several points belonging to the same 3D Shape.
  • Component Specifications are created on the selected points, in the same 3D Shape.
Component Specifications Pattern on Sketch of Points
Creates a pattern of Component Specifications on a sketch of points.
Component Specification on Hole
Create a Component Specifications pattern on a hole






Reverse Axis Orientation of Component Specification
  • Select one or several Component Specifications.
    Note: Only the selected Component Specifications are processed.
    Tip: To modify all the Component Specifications of a pattern, select the Component Specifications pattern in the tree.
  • Select the relevant command to reverse the orientation of one axis.
  • The Component Specification axis remains right-handed.






Swap Axis of Component Specification
  • Select one or several Component Specifications.
    Note: Only the selected Component Specifications are processed.
    Tip: To modify all the Component Specifications of a pattern, select the Component Specifications pattern in the tree.
  • Select the relevant command to swap two axes.
  • The Component Specification axis remains right-handed.
Modify PLM Type
Use the PLM Type Browser to modify the type of the Component Specification
Quick Access to Recently Used
Displays the recently used component references of the same type as the Component Specifications.

Reverse Z-Axis of Smart Component
  • Select a component instance with a rigid axis to axis engineering connection.
  • The Z-Axis of the engineering connection is inverted.
