About Technological Impacts

When you add a new Component to the design, you must also design the impacts of this new Component on its environment. Because the design takes place in a virtual world, you can design the impacts after the new Component is added to the Tool. But because the Tool physically exists in the end, do not forget the design of the impacts.

The design of these impacts has several missions:

  • Prevent collision conflicts between the new Component and the elements of the Tool that are already designed.
  • Give access to a Component by creating a hole in a plate, even if no clash has been detected.
  • Pass the elements already present in the design of the Tool from their initial to their final state, at least in the neighborhood of the new Component.

Important: Solid Impacts are computed on the PartBody only.
