Adding Inputs to a Template Definition

You can add inputs to a template definition.

Defining inputs in a knowledge engineering specification representation is impossible in product structures. If you want to add a parameter as input for an engineering template, this parameter must be located within a 3D shape.

Only modifiable parameters can be specified as input for an engineering template. Isolate parameters valuated by rules or formulas before specifying them as inputs.

Inputs and parameters are defined within the engineering template definition for components with Add Selected Components to Components to Duplicate behavior at instantiation.

Before you begin: A reference or a representation must be available for selection in the tree.
