Configuring the Date & time Ingredient

You can configure the Date & time Ingredient as a Trigger to make Potion execute its Action(s) on a regular schedule or at specific moment in time.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: During the configuration of Potion, add the Date & time Ingredient as a Trigger. For more information, see Add Triggers.

Configure the During a defined period of time Trigger

You can configure the Date & time Ingredient as a Trigger to make Potion execute its Action(s) on a regular schedule.

Important: This Trigger will not work of it is the only Trigger of the Potion. You must add several Ingredients as Triggers to your Potion and select ANY on the main pane of the editor.

  1. From the When list, select During a defined period of time.
  2. From the Condition section, select the options of your choice to define a period of time during which your Potion executes its Action(s) when the conditions of its other Trigger(s) are met.
  3. Click Save.
  4. From the main pane, if you see WHEN ALL HAPPEN, click ALL > ANY.
    WHEN ANY HAPPEN is displayed.

Configure the On a specific date or time Trigger

You can configure the Date & time Ingredient as a Trigger to make Potion execute its Action(s) at specific moment in time.

  1. From the When list, select On a specific date or time.
  2. From the Condition section, select the options of your choice to define the moment in time at which your Potion executes its Action(s).
  3. Click Save.
