Note: You cannot modify nor delete the app name from the widget header.

  1. In the Title field, enter your custom title.

When you leave the field blank, the widget header displays the name of the RSS feed that the widget was configured with.

  2. Click Save.

Feed

Note: This option is not available if Feed Reader has been configured with an RSS feed that is protected by a password.

  1. In the Feed field, enter a new RSS feed URL.

    Notes:
    • You must enter the exact URL of the RSS feed.

  2. Click Save.

View

By default, Feed Reader automatically selects the most suitable appearance for its list of articles when it is configured. This automatic selection depends on the articles' content; for example, whether they contain images or not. You can change this appearance.

  1. Click the View default value.
  2. From the list, select one of the following:
    • Condensed. For each article, this view displays the article title and a few words from the article content on one line and in a small font.
    • List. For each article, this view displays the article title and a few words from the article content on one line and in a font of a regular size.
    • Normal. For each article, this view displays the article title, an excerpt from the article content, and a thumbnail if at least one image can be found in the article content.
    • Mosaic. For each article, this view displays the article title and a large thumbnail if at least one image can be found in the article content.
  3. Click Save.

Open Directly on the Site

By default, Feed Reader opens its articles in the widget when you click their titles in the list of articles. You can enable the Open directly on the site preference to make Feed Reader open the articles' source web pages in a new window instead.

Important: When this option is enabled, you cannot:
  • Mark any article as unread.
  • Share any article.
  • Publish any article to 3DSwym.
  • Transfer any article to ENOVIA.

  1. Select the Open directly on the site check box.
  2. Click Save.
