This topic provides Tracked Topic configuration examples that retrieve articles that have Opinions.

Note: It takes a few minutes for articles to which you or another user of the Platform has added a new Opinion to appear in the Tracked Topic results.

Example: Retrieve all Articles with an Opinion

The following configuration retrieves from your sources all the articles that have an Opinion that you or any other user of the Platform has ever added using either the Opinion Bookmarklet or the Opinion command on a Feed Reader or Tracked Topic widget.

Parameter Description
Sources Select all your sources.
Query Enter opinion:*
Period Select Your retention.

Example: Retrieve all the Articles Only you Have Added an Opinion to

The following configuration retrieves from your sources all the articles that have an Opinion that only you have ever added using either the Opinion Bookmarklet or the Opinion command on a Feed Reader or Tracked Topic widget.

Parameter Description
Sources Select all your sources.
Query Enter: opinion:* AND user:[your username]
Period Select Your retention.

Example: Retrieve Bookmarked Articles

The following configuration retrieves all the articles that have an Opinion that you or any other user of the Platform has ever added with the Opinion Bookmarklet.

Note: This configuration also retrieves all articles that ever had an Opinion, even if you or the other user of the Platform who added this Opinion then deleted it.

Parameter Description
Sources From the My content section, select Bookmarked articles.
Query Select All.
Period Select Your retention.

Example: Retrieve Your Bookmarked Articles

The following configuration retrieves from your sources all the articles that have an Opinion that you, and only you, have ever added with the Opinion Bookmarklet.

Note: This configuration also retrieves all articles that ever had an Opinion, even if you then deleted this Opinion.

Parameter Description
Sources From the My content section, select Bookmarked articles.
Query Enter: user:[your username]

Example: Retrieve Opinions of a Specific Sentiment

The following configuration retrieves from your sources all the articles that have an Opinion of a specific sentiment that you or any other user of the Platform has ever added using either the Opinion Bookmarklet or the Opinion command on a Feed Reader or Tracked Topic widget.
