Product Instance

An instance is an object representing the reference. The purpose of an instance is to use the reference in the context of an assembly. Occurrences of the instance are then displayed in the context of an assembly.

Naming Convention

By default, the instance name is composed of the reference name and a number: ReferenceName(InstanceName_Number).

This instance name is unique.

You can customize both reference and instance default names.

Positioning
