From the Model or the
Essentials section of the action bar, click
Hole
.

Select the face on which you want to create the hole.

In the
Hole.x dialog box define the hole shape and
enter the parameters of your choice.

Click
. The thread definition parameters are available.

In the
Thread standard box, you can choose among two
default
thread
standards. You can also:

If necessary, edit the thread depth then the hole depth if you
need to modify the value you had previously set.
Note:
This value must not exceed the thread diameter value.

From the Thread side list, select either
Right-threaded or Left
threaded option.
The app displays the hole with a texture
representing thread in the work area. An icon specific to this feature is displayed in the tree. It is a symbolic representation.

Note:
You can click 3DMaster query
in the App Options panel and move the mouse pointer
over a hole or thread in the work area or tree to view technological information
in the tool tip.
