Project Properties Page

You can view information about any of the projects or project templates you belong to individually or any project in your company that has company visibility.

Fields

To access this page:

  1. On the Projects page, click the name of a project or project concept. See Projects Page.
  2. From the navigation pane, click Details > Properties tab.

Field Name Description
Classification Paths(s)

The classification paths for the project.

Type

Project Space or Project Concept.

Name The name of the project.
Policy The policy that governs the lifecycle of the project.
Owner

The current owner of the project, which is the person who has primary responsibility for it.

Organization The organization to which the project belongs.
Collaborative Space The collaborative space where the project is shared.
Description

The description of the project.

Base Currency The currency in which financial data is stored. The base currency applies to budgets, benefits, resource requests, and forecasts. The base currency is set at project creation time and cannot be changed after creation.
On premises only: The base currency is set in the emxCommon.Currency.Triangulation property in the emxSystem.properties file.
Project Status

The project or project concept's current lifecycle state. For a description of the states, see 3DEXPERIENCE Basics: .

Visibility A project's visibility can be Company or Members. Company visibility means all users in the project owner's company can view the project by searching for it. Members visibility means that only people added as project members can view the project.
Note: This field is not available when creating projects in a 3DBaseline environment.
Creation Date

The date on which the project was created.

Company Name The name of the company that created the project or project concept.
Business Unit The business unit for the project or project concept.
Program

The programs associated with the project or project concept.

Schedule From

Shows either Project Start Date (schedules calculated from when the project starts) or Project Finish Date (schedules calculated from when the project must be finished).

Project Date The date on which the project started.
Estimated / Actual Start Date For projects only. The estimated and actual dates on which the project is started. Project Leads can change this date up until an actual start date is entered, which is when the first task is promoted to In Work. Changes to the project start date affect the start dates for tasks.
Estimated / Actual Finish Date

For projects only. The estimated and actual dates for project completion.

Estimated / Actual Duration For projects only. The estimated and actual number of days between the start and finish dates.
Default Constraint

The default constraint type for project tasks. If this is set to "As Soon As Possible" the constraint type for tasks defaults to "As Soon As Possible." Otherwise, the default constraint for tasks is "As Late As Possible."

Calendar A section that lists the available calendars for the project. Project scheduling can only take place on the Default calendar.

Name. The name of the calendar.

Default. Indicates whether a calendar is the default, which is used for scheduling.

Workweek. The working weekdays for the calendar.

Description. The description of the calendar.

To add a calendar, click . To remove a calendar, select it, and click .

If you are using the Market Registration app to view submission properties, these additional fields are displayed:

Field Name Description
Authority Application Number The application number assigned when the regulatory authority receives the dossier. This number should be used on all subsequent correspondence.
Termination Type If the submission project was terminated, the type of termination:
  • Terminated
  • Not Submitted
  • Withdrawn
Contract Number

The contract number of the restricted authorization.

Only has a value if the submission type is Restricted.

Dossier Submitted The type of submission evaluation:
  • Evaluation
  • Referral
  • Appeal

Regulatory Request Responders take this dossier evaluation type into consideration when preparing documents.

Follows Leading Country Indicates whether the countries associated with this submission project follow the regulatory lead of another country.

Possible Value Description
As Defined The defined leading/following countries relationship is used, and the Leading Country field shows the name of the lead country.
Not Required Any defined leading/following countries relationship is not used, and the Leading country field is blank and cannot be edited.
With Deviation The normal leading/following countries relationship is not used, but the country for the context submission will follow another country. The Regulatory Lead must select a leading country.

Hold Termination Date If the submission project was placed On hold or Terminated, the date of that action.
Publishing File Format The file format required by the regulatory authority:
  • eCopy: The electronic submission is an exact duplicate of the paper-based submission. (You must select this format to see the Publishing category for a submission.)
  • eCTD: The electronic submission content is based on the Common Technical Document (CTD) format.
  • NeeS: The electronic submission is in a non-eCTD format.
  • Paper-based: The submission is paper-based.
Reason For Change Justification for changes made to the regulatory information for a submission after it is started.

Only has a value if the submission is beyond the Create state.

Reason For Hold Termination If the submission project was placed On Hold or Terminated, the reason for that action.
Regulatory Activity Category The regulatory activity category defined for this submission.
Regulatory Activity Sub Category The subcategory for the activity category.
Regulatory Milestone Auto Complete True or False: Indicates whether the regulatory milestone automatically completes when a market authorization with the milestone is completed on the submission.
Restricted Authorization Request Date The date that the regulatory authority grants restricted authorization.

Only has a value if the submission type is Restricted.

Wave Reference The wave reference for a submission that uses the Mutual Recognition Procedure (MRP).

If you derive a submission project from this one, you need to manually edit this value.

Only has a value if the submission type is Initial submission.
