Animating Simulation Content

You can animate the results of your simulation and customize the behavior of animations in your session.

The animation player works in concert with the following:

  • Step/frame selector: Animated positions are displayed in the legend step/frame selector. Only computed frames are displayed in the selector (interpolated or scaled frames are not shown).
  • X-Y Plots: X-Y Plots are synchronized with the current frame, highlighting the current value on the graph with a blue circle. However, the X-Y Plot does not animate dynamically.
The player might not always be available, depending on the type of content opened in Physics Simulation Review. A Play control is superimposed on the content type icon when animation is enabled.
