Showing or Hiding Parts of the Model

You can remove portions of the model from the display to focus on areas of interest while reviewing results.

Identifying Extrema
  1. Select Hide .
  2. Select the geometry.
    If you click the hint at the top of the work area, additional tooltips display.
  3. From the context toolbar, select Switch All to switch the visibility of all components, or select Keep Only to keep the selection's visibility and switch the visibility of all other components.
    In the example below, a segment of the excavator arm was selected and is now hidden from view.

  4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 as required to hide multiple parts.
  5. Select Show All to make the hidden portions visible again.
