Modifying Branch Connection

You can modify a branch connection or place a part on a rigid branch that is already created.

This option allows you to check if the connection is the right one, according to the specifications in the Branch Rule table.

Before you begin: Open an object containing a branch connection.
  1. From the Fluid Design section of the action bar, select Part Mode as process mode.
  2. From the Selection Options dialog box, select Part Selection .
For more information about the different selection options, see Selection Options and Process Modes.
  3. Select the branch route and then the branch port.
  4. On the context toolbar, click Manage Branch Connection .

Note: If several branch rules or parts can be selected, then the Table Browser appears to let you choose the branch rule or the part of your choice.

The part is placed on the branch.

You can also use the option for a branch that already has a branch part. The following table shows you the different cases for branch connection modifications.
