Adding Split Points

You can add split points before generating PCF files and creating ISO drawings to cut drawings in multiple sheets.


Before you begin: Open a piping/tubing network.

  1. Open a piping design.
  2. From the Fluidic Design section of the action bar, select PCF Mode as process mode.
  3. From the Selection Options dialog box, select the option of your choice.
    For more information about the different selection options, see Selection Options and Process Modes.
  4. Select a route.
    The selection is propagated according to the selection option.
  5. On the context toolbar, click Manage Split Point .
    The Manage Split Point dialog box appears. If the selected routes already contain split points, the routes and their split points are listed in the dialog box. If no split point exist, the dialog box is empty.
  6. Click Create and select the split point location on the current highlighted network.

    You can create split point between a rigid route and a part, on a rigid route segment, or between two parts. For each newly created split points, they are listed in the Manage Split Point dialog box with their corresponding statuses.

  7. Optional: Select a row in the Manage Split Point dialog box and click Delete to delete a split point.
