Editing, Copying, Upgrading, and Deleting Resource Tables

You can edit, modify, copy, upgrade, and delete a resource table.

Edit a Resource Table

  1. In the Resource Tables tab, expand the resources set items.
  2. Right-click the resource table and select Edit the selected Resource Table. The table opens.
  3. Right-click the assigned resource and select any of the following:
    • Choose the assigned resource to replace the allocated resource with another one.
    • Edit the assigned resource to open the resource and modify it.
    • Unset the assigned resource
    • Add a new resource sub item .

Copy a Resource Table

You can copy a resource table to create a copy of a saved resource set.

Before you begin: The resource set you want to copy must have been saved. To save your work, select Share > Save in the top bar.
  1. In the Resource Tables tab, expand the resources set items.
  2. Right-click the resource set you want to copy and select Copy the selected Resource Table.

A copy of the resource set is created and added to the same resource set ID as the original resource set.

Notes:
  • The copy points to the resources of the original resource set; the resources are not copied.
  • The business rules of the copy, if any, are not deployed, even if the business rules of the original resource set are deployed. To deploy them, see Deploying a Business Rule on the Server.

Upgrade a Resource Table

  1. Select the Resource Tables tab.
  2. In the Resource Set ID / Table Name column, double-click a resource set (for example, Equipment Resources), or click its + icon.
  3. Right-click a resource table which has the symbol and select Upgrade the selected Resource Table.
    The Upgrade the Resource Table dialog box appears. It displays the details of all the changes that will be made to the resource table you have selected.
  4. In the Upgrade the Resource Table dialog box, click OK.
    The Upgrade successful dialog box appears. It displays the details of all the changes that have been made to the resource table you selected.
  5. In the Upgrade successful dialog box, click Close.

Delete a Resource Table

  1. In the Resource Tables tab, expand the resources set items, right-click the resource table, and select Delete the selected Resource Table from Database.
  2. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete the table.

The Resource Table is removed.
