Where Used Page

The Where Used page for a product line, test case, or build lists all parent objects of that object. It provides the information required to implement a change that affects many model version objects.

To access this page:

  1. Open a product line, test case, or build. See Opening a Product Line, Opening a Test Case, or Opening a Build.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Where Used.

Columns

Column NameDescription
NameThe name of the content where the object is used.

Only displays for Test Cases.

 Click to edit the properties of the requirement that uses the test case.
Level

Only displays for Builds and Test Cases.

The level of the content within the parent assembly. By default, the level signifies the number of levels back from the current level. Your system might be configured otherwise.

Title

Only displays for Builds and Test Cases.

The short description of the object.
RevisionThe revision level of the object.
Type The type of object.
DescriptionThe detailed description of the object.
StateThe current lifecycle state of the object.
OwnerThe person who is assigned responsibility for the object.

Does not appear for alll object types.
