Editing a Test Case

Product Managers and System Engineers can edit the properties for a test case.

Before you begin: View the Properties page for the test case. See Opening a Test Case.

  1. From the page toolbar, click Edit Details .
  2. Edit these details:

    Field NameDescription
    TitleEnter a new title for the test case.
    Content Click in the text area to edit the rich content.
    OwnerClick to modify the owner of the test case.
    SynopsisEnter a concise summary of the test case.
    NotesUpdate notes that may help others using this test case.
    Estimated Completion Date Click to select and modify the estimated date of completion of this test case.
    Validation CommentsUpdate the validation comment for the test case. If the validation fails, use this field to explain the failure.

  3. Click Done.
