Breaking a Pipe

You can break a pipe to create two separate pipes.

Note: This command is available for routes in orthogonal and straight-line mode.

Before you begin: Open an existing diagram view containing two connected components.

  1. From the Layout section of the action bar, click Break Route .
  2. Click the pipe at the desired location to create the breaking point.

Two separate pipe routes are created. Each route has one of its ends unconnected.
