Merging Pipes

You can merge two pipe routes.

Before you begin: Open an existing diagram view containing:
  • Two connected components
  • Two pipe references with one end unconnected

Breaking a Pipe
  1. From the Layout section of the action bar, click Merge Route .
  2. Select the pipe which attributes will apply to the second pipe during the merging process.
    The unconnected end of the pipe is highlighted.

  3. Select the second pipe.

    The two pipes merge.

A pipe route with both connected to a component is created.
