Simulation actor |
Lets you view and manage simulation actors. A simulation actor is a 3D node
that aggregates all the simulation cases associated with the simulation. A
simulation actor can contain several case actors. |
|
Simulation case actor |
Lets you view and manage simulation case actors. A simulation case actor is
a grouping node that represents a specific case study of the simulation (for
example, vertical pressure). A simulation case actor can include several
result actors. Note:
You can delete any simulation case actor or
result actor that you do not need in your experience.

Result actor |
Lets you view and manage the results of a simulation case. It is the item you
select to create a simulation result variant. A result actor is a 3D actor with a
shape, which represents the data computed in a simulation case context for a
specific physical quantity (for example, displacement). Result actors can
contain the following elements: decomposition element actors, simulation
animations, and legend actors. You can explore the structure of a result
actor. |
|
Decomposition element actor |
Lets you view and manage decomposition element actors. A decomposition
element actor is a 3D actor with a 3D shape. It is a subpart of a result
actor. You can expose or stop exposing decomposition element actors.

Simulation animation |
Lets you view and manage simulation animations. A simulation animation
enables you to see the progression of the model through the
simulation. |
|
Legend actor |
Lets you view and manage legend actors. A legend actor is a 3D planar actor
that you can position in the 3D area.
It provides information about its related result actor like physical quantity,
unit, and range values. The content of a legend actor can be related to a
simulation animation. In such case, the content of the label is updated according
to the simulation step (minimum and maximum range values). |
