Managing Characterizations

You can add information as free text to enrich and characterize the values used to complete a PRA table, if the template associated with the table defines some columns as characterizable.

Add or Edit Characterizations

You can add a characterization to a tile or modify an existing characterization.

  1. Select a tile in a cell.
  2. From the Edit section of the action bar, click Add/Edit Characterization .

    Tip: You can also press Shift + Click to add or edit a characterization.

    Depending on the characterization format defined for the cell column in the template, the rich text editor or a plain text editor appears.
  3. To edit a characterization:
    1. Enter your characterization text.
    2. Optional: Format your text within the rich text editor.
    3. Click elsewhere.

The text of the characterization appears in the tile below the current content and is written in rich text or in italics for plain text.

Delete Characterizations

You can delete a characterization associated with a tile.

  1. Select a tile.
  2. From the Edit section of the action bar, click Delete Characterization .

    Note: To delete a characterization, click the cross located at the upper-right corner of the characterization.

    The characterization is removed.
