Manipulating Viewpoints: Switching Between 2D and 3D

A set of commands enables you to modify the viewpoint of the objects in session. Switching between 2D and 3D enables you to switch between 2D and 3D roots when you work with multiple root objects.

The following tasks found in Basic Viewing Commands are also of primary interest:

  • Pan
  • Rotate
  • Recenter
  • Zoom In/Zoom Out
  • Reframe on an Object
  • Walk Through Objects
  • Fly Through Objects

From the View section of the action bar, click Switch 2D/3D .
Your view switches between the 3D root objects and the 2D root objects that are in your session.
