Projects for a Business Goal

You can list the projects associated with a business goal.

Associating a business goal with a project means that the project is designed to fulfill the business goal. A business goal can be fulfilled by one or more projects. Any employee of the host company who is assigned to the Business Manager role can associate an existing project with a business goal.

To access this page:

In the navigation pane on the Business Goal Properties page, click Projects.

Create Project Creates a new project and associates it with this goal. You must be assigned to the Project Lead role to create a new project. This procedure is the same as the procedure for creating any project except the current business goal is automatically associated with the new project. Create New: Creating a Project from Scratch

Add Project

Adds an existing project to this goal. If a subgoal has been added to the goal, projects can no longer be associated with the goal but can be associated with the subgoal. In other words, projects can only be associated with the lowest-level goals. Similarly, once you associate a project with a goal, you can no longer add subgoals to it. Additionally, projects cannot be added to Complete goals--

Remove Selected

Removes the selected project from the business goal; click OK to confirm. Any employee of the host company who is assigned to the Business Manager role can remove a project from a business goal. Projects cannot be removed from Complete goals. --
