Related Items

The Related Items tab of a CAPA request lists the items that are connected to the CAPA request. You can also add and remove the related items from the CAPA request.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Leader (Restricted), Owner
  • App-specific: Quality Manager

To access this page:

  • Open the required CAPA request. For more information, see Opening a CAPA Request.
  • From the Properties page, click the Related Items tab.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name The item name. Click to open the item.
Type Type of item.
Rev Revision level of the item.
Description Information about the item.
State The current lifecycle state of the item.
Owner The person responsible for the item.
Comments Any comments relevant to the item.

Actions and Toolbar Commands

Action Description
Add Related Items Searches for and adds items to the current content.
Notes:
  • You can add related items to a selected CAPA request in the Preliminary and Review states.
  • In the Preliminary state, the user assigned with the Owner role can add a related item to the CAPA request.
  • In the Review state, the user assigned with the Leader and Leader (Restricted)role can add a related item to the CAPA request.
Remove Selected Removes the selected items from the list. Click OK to confirm.
Notes:
  • In the Preliminary state, the user assigned with the Owner role can remove a related item to from the CAPA request.
  • In the Review state, the user assigned with the Leader and Leader (Restricted)role can remove a related item to the CAPA request.
Enable Edit Toggles into edit mode. In edit mode, you can edit the Comments.
Disable Edit Toggles into view mode.
