Field	Description
State	State of the defect cause. Possible states are Identified and Addressed.
Owner	Name of the defect cause owner.
Originator	Name of the person that created the defect cause.
Originated	Date when the defect cause was created.
Title	Title of the defect cause.
Description	Description of the defect cause.
Primary	Shows if the defect cause is primary.
Factor	Classification of the defect cause.
Sub-Factor	Sub-classification of the defect cause.
Approaches Used	The approaches that were used to identify the defect cause.
Defect Detected Within Quality Plan	Displays Yes if the defect was identified using the quality plan. Otherwise, displays No or Not Applicable.
Reason Not Detected	The reason if the defect was not identified using the quality plan.
Other	Other reasons if the defect was not identified using the quality plan.
Custom Attributes	Name of attribute: Custom attributes that are connected with the type and subtype of the defect cause.

Actions


Action	Description
Cancel	Cancels the defect cause and disconnects all associated tasks. Click OK to confirm.
Edit	Activates edit mode in which you can modify the Owner, Title, Description, Primary, Factor, Sub-Factor, Approaches Used, Defect Detected Within Quality Plan, and Reason Not Detected fields. Click Done to save the changes.
