Data Sources

This page lists data sources that are connected to the CAPA request or the CAPA. The CAPA request owner can add different objects as data sources to the CAPA request. For CAPAs, all members can add data sources as evidence.

To access this page:

    1. From the CAPA Page, click the name of the required CAPA.
    2. Click the CAPA Details tab.
    3. Click the Data Sources page tab.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name Name of the data source. Click to view its details.
Type Type of the data source. For example, complaint, event, Equipment Service Request (ESR), Non-Conformance Report (NCR), or audit finding.
State State of the data source.
DescriptionDescription of the data source.
CreatedDate when the data source object was created.
ClosedDate when the data source object was closed.
OrganizationName of the organization for which the data source object was created.
OriginatorName of the object creator.
OwnerName of the object owner.

Actions

Action Description
Add Existing Adds an existing data source. Select the required objects from the Search Results page and click Submit. You can add complaints, events, Equipment Service Requests (ESR), Non-conformance Reports (NCR), and audit findings.
Note: You can add a data source to the CAPA request when it is in the Preliminary state and to the CAPA when it is in the Create state.
Remove Removes the selected data sources. Click OK to confirm.
