Creating a Measure of Effectiveness Task

You can create multiple Measure of Effectiveness (MOE) tasks under an MOE phase and assign them to the required users.


Before you begin:
  • You must be the owner of the CAPA.
  • You must be on the Schedule page.
  1. From the Schedule page, perform any one of the following actions.
    • Select an MOE phase and select Actions > Add Subtask Below.
    • Select an MOE task and select Actions > Insert Task Above.
    The Create Task page appears.
  2. Enter the following details.
    Field Name Description
    TypeSelect MOE. You can also select the subtype of MOE.
    Note: You can create a subtype for the context object using the Data Model Customization app. For more information, see Installation and Setup | Customize | 3DEXPERIENCE Platform | 3DSpace Data Model | Data Model Customization | Specialize Data Model | Specialization Types | Creating, Editing and Deleting a Specialization Type.
    Name Type a name for the MOE task. Otherwise, select Autoname to create a system-generated name.
    Brief DescriptionDescribe the MOE task.
    Duration Enter the estimated duration.
    PolicySelect the policy that governs the lifecycle of the MOE task.
    Task RequirementSelect Mandatory if the MOE task is a mandatory task. Otherwise, select Optional.
    Project RoleSelect a role responsible for completing the task. Project members with that role are displayed in the Assignees list.
    Constraint TypeSelect the type of constraint for the MOE task that specifies when it must be completed within the project. Available values are As Late as Possible, As Soon as Possible, Start No Earlier Than, Finish No Earlier Than, Start No Later Than, Finish No Later Than, Must Finish On, and Must Start On.
    Constraint DateSelect a constraint date for constraint types other than As Soon as Possible and As Late as Possible.
    Calendar Select a work calendar defined for the company.
    OwnerSelect a person that you want to assign as the owner of the MOE task.
    AssigneeSelect the persons to whom you want to assign the MOE task. You can select users based on the role that you selected earlier.
    Custom Attributes Type the additional information for the custom attributes that are selected as subtype of the MOE.
  3. Click Done.
    The MOE task is created.
