Select a side face of the pier.

Click the Pattern tab, and remove the linear pattern created by default.
- Select Curvillinear Pattern in the list.
The Curvillinear Pattern dialog box appears.
- Create a join made of several edges.
- Right-click anywhere in the 3D area.
- Select in the context menu.
- Select successively three edges at the base of the pier as elements to join.
- Click OK.
The curve is automatically created from these edges.
- In the Input tab, select the relimiting surfaces, and click Apply.
- Click the Extremities tab to extend the bars.
- Select the Relimitation check box, and enter 200mm as additional length.
- Click OK and Apply.
You created an adaptive rebar layer of follow-up surface type along a curve.
