Creating a Fixed Rebar Layer

In this step, you will create a simple fixed rebar layer using a predefined profile, adjust the position parameters, configure the pattern limit and specify start and end hooks

  1. In the tree, right-click the geometrical set, select 3D Shape Rebars A.1 object, and select Edit in the context menu.
  2. From the Reinforcement section of the action bar, click Rebar Creation .
  3. In the Rebar Creation dialog box, click Define by type .
  4. From the Search Results window, select the simple bar fixed as rebar profile.
  5. Select a pier's face.
    A preview of the bars helps you tune the result you envision.
  6. To position the rebar layer within the pier, edit the template parameters:
    1. Enter 1600mm for A value.
    2. Enter -800 for X value.
    3. Click apply
  7. Configure the pattern limit using the displayed flags.
  8. Specify start and end hooks, clicking the Extremities tab.
  9. Revert the end hook.

A fixed rebar layer (Reinforcing bars layer.5) is created under the geometrical set node.
