Setting Columns Widths

To improve the display of tables in generated report files, you can define the ratio between the columns width and the total width of the table in the template.

Before you begin: In the Graphical area of the Templates page, create a table without empty cells.

To define the ratio for each column:
  1. Select the header cell.
  2. In the Width box of the Properties tab, enter n*. Where, n corresponds to the column ratio.

    Note: By default, the column ratio is equal to 1*.

For example, to define a two-columns table whose first column ratio is one-quarter of the total width:

  • For the first header cell, enter the value 1*.
  • For the second header cell, enter the value 3*.

If you generate the report file, the widths of the table columns are computed accordingly to the defined columns ratio.
