Working With Effectivity

Effectivity defines the criteria by which an object is valid within its parent group. For example, a particular specification may only be valid between certain days in a specification folder or a requirement may be valid only for certain product revisions.

This section describes how to edit and filter effectivity. For details about effectivity tasks, see Configuration and Effectivity Services.

You work with effectivity in the specification's structure display. You can filter the display of specification or requirement objects by effectivity. In Edit mode, you can edit their effectivity.
