Searching within the Context of a Specification

You can quickly locate a requirement within a complex specification structure by searching within its context then having Traceable Requirements Management highlight the requirement within the expanded structure.

Required responsibilities:

  • Baseline: Leader (when the object is in the Frozen state) or Author

Before you begin: View the specification. See Specification Detail Page.
  1. From the page toolbar, click Search within Context .
    The Search dialog box opens.
  2. Search for and select the type of objects that you want to find for within the specification's structure.
  3. Click Highlight Selected.

The selected objects are highlighted in the expanded specification structure.
