Running the Requirement-Parameter Traceability Report

Run the Requirement-Parameter traceability report to display the parameters related to requirements.

Required responsibilities:

  • Baseline: Leader (when the object is in the Frozen state) or Author

  1. Access the Requirement-Parameter Case traceability report by doing one of the following:
    • To access the report from the requirements list:
      1. Select the requirement in the list.
      2. From the Actions menu, select Traceability Report > Req-Test Case.
    • To access the report from a requirement:
      1. View the requirement from which you want to run the report. See Opening a Requirement.
      2. From the navigation pane, select Traceability.
      3. Select the Req-Parameter page tab.
  2. In the Req-Parameter page tab, select Parameters.

    The Parameters report contains the following information:

    NameName of the requirement
    TitleTitle of the requirement
    RevRevision level of the requirement
    Parent SpecificationsName of the parent specifications of the requirement
    TitleTitle of the parent specifications of the requirement
    Parameter NameName of the parameter
    TitleTitle of the parameter
    RevisionRevision level of the parameter
    Parameter TypeThe type of parameter
    Parameter ValueThe value of the parameter
    TypeThe type of relationship between the parameter and the requirement
    Parent Requirement ListThe parent requirements of the parameter
