Opening a Requirement

You can access all of the information related to a requirement by opening it.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, or Leader

Before you begin: Find a requirement listed in one of these contexts:

  1. Click the name of the requirement.
  2. Click Categories . You can use the categories in the navigation pane to access information related to the requirement.

    Category Name Page Tabs Description
    Properties Attributes Shows the property attributes of the requirement.
    Customer Extensions Shows the customer extensions associated with the requirement.
    All Parameters Shows the parameters associated with the requirement.
    Documents Shows the reference documents associated with the requirement.
    Sharing Lists who the requirement is shared with and what privileges they have.
    History Displays history of actions associated with the requirement.
    Exchange Tracking Discussions Shows the discussions about the requirement.
    Issues Shows the issues associated with the requirement.
    Decisions Shows the decisions associated with the requirement.
    Change Control Lifecycle Shows the Lifecycle, Tasks/Signatures, and Approvals tabs of the requirement.
    Routes Shows the routes for the requirement lifecycle.
    Revisions Shows the revisions of the requirement.
    Configuration Criteria Manages configuration context objects associated with the requirement.
    Change Management Shows the page tabs for change orders, change requests, and legacy change objects associated with the requirement.
    Related Objects Overview Shows a hierarchical overview the objects associated with the requirement, grouped by type.
    Cloning Information Shows cloning information for the requirement.
    Specifications Shows the specifications using this requirement.
    Where Used Shows the objects that use this requirement.
    Use Cases Shows the use cases associated with this requirement.
    Test Cases Shows the test cases associated with this requirement.
    Satisfied By Lists the product features that satisfy the requirement.
    Traceability Req-Req Displays report criteria and runs Requirement-Requirement Traceability reports.
    Req-Feature Displays report criteria and runs Requirement-Feature Traceability reports.
    Req-Test Case Displays report criteria and runs Requirement-Test Case Traceability reports.
