Transferring Files from V6 to VRC

This task describes the process of transferring files from the V6 machine's file system to that of the VRC. While this operation is typically used to transfer native program files generated by V6 OLP downloaders, in general, it could be used in transferring any type of file.

Before you begin: Enable an RRS-II connection for the robot.
  1. Click RRS Operations.
  2. Select the robot.
    The RRS-II Operations dialog box is displayed for the selected robot.
  3. Select the File Transfer tab.
  4. Click Add to select the file(s) to be transferred to the VRC.
    The selected files are listed in the Source Files pane.
  5. For the Target Directory, enter the full path and file name where the file(s) should be transferred to.

    Be sure to follow any possible VRC restrictions on path/file naming.

    Note: The Target Directory entry must be exactly what the VRC module is expecting. Refer to the VRC module documentation for this.
  6. Click Transfer.
    After the files are successfully transferred to the VRC, a message is displayed confirming the transfer.
