Creating States

You can create a state and insert it in a state machine diagram.

Before you begin: Create a state machine diagram and activate it.

  1. From the State Machine Diagram section of the action bar, click State Creation .
  2. Click the state machine diagram to place the state.
  3. Enter a name.

    Notes:
    • Double-click the state to modify its name or its description.
    • To move the state, drag the state.
    • To modify the size of the state, click it and use the handles.
