Also Against Page

This page lists model versions that a defect also affects, other than the model version against which it was originally reported. This list does not include the model version against which the defect was originally reported.

Required access roles:

  • App-specific: Defect Engineer
  • Baseline: Author

To access this page:

  1. View the Properties page for the defect. See Defect Properties.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Also Against.

Or:

  1. Open the model version.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Defect Management.
  3. Select the Also Against tab.

Columns

Column NameDescription
NameName of the model version. Click to the model version.
Shows if a higher revision of the model version exists.
Shows if the object on the list has a related Active Engineering Change (EC). For details about ECs, see Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Engineering Changes.
Shows the primary image for the model version, if defined. Click the image to open the Images page, where you can view all images for the model version. For details, see Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Images Page.
RevisionShows the model version revision number or code.
TagsOnly shows if you have the Defect Management and Collaboration installed.

Name of any tags assigned to this revision.

TypeShows the type of model version.
Description Details about the model version.
Start EffectivityThe date when the model version is available for configuration sessions.
End EffectivityThe date when the model version is no longer available for configuration sessions.
Governing ProjectA project created in Project Management that is used to govern the model version created in Product Line Management. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed. Clicking the Enable Edit button enables in-cell editing of the governing project.
Current Phase The current milestone, phase or tollgate the project is in, which is the first top-level task that is not in the Complete state. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed.
Phase CompletionThe estimated completion date of the current phase of the governing project. This column is blank if Project Management is not installed.
State The current state of the model version in its lifecycle.
Owner The person responsible for the model version.
Design ResponsibilityThe organization or project with design responsibility for the model version.
Shows if files are checked into or connected to the model version. Click to open the Files page. For details, see Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide: Files Associated with an Object.
