- From
the search menu, search for and select the simulation activity into which the data will be imported.
- From the navigation pane, select Content.
- Select the folder into which the folders, documents, and files will be imported.
A folder upload rule can import into the following: - A simulation folder (the folder can reside in the simulation activity or in another unrelated simulation activity, or the folder can reside in the parent simulation process)
- A reference to a bookmark folder
- Select the folder to upload.
- From Actions menus in the Content page, select Create Upload Rule.
- From the Folder Upload Rule window that appears:
- Enter the Title
of the rule.
- Select the Upload Step in which the rule will be executed.
- Choose whether the rule is Enabled. By default, the value is True and the upload rule will be executed. You can choose a value of False to run an activity without executing its upload rule.
- In the File Name field, enter the name of the source file to upload into the destination document. You can enter the path to the subdirectory (relative to the working directory), and you can use wildcards if you are unsure of the file name or if you want to import multiple files. You can enter multiple files in a comma-separated list; for example, steel.txt, aluminum*.txt, settings/loads.txt.
- Enter the name of the files to import into Process Composer; for example Steel*. Enter * for the file name of the source files to import all the directories and files.
- Choose whether to create versioned or non-versioned documents during the import.
- Click Done to create the folder upload rule.
